There are 11 official theatrical live-action Star Wars films, including three trilogies known as the Skywalker Saga. The trilogies are listed below.
Original Trilogy (Episodes IV to VI): A New Hope (1977), The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Return of the Jedi (1983)
Prequel Trilogy (Episodes I to III): The Phantom Menace (1999), Attack of the Clones (2002), and Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Sequel Trilogy (Episodes VII to IX): The Force Awakens (2015), The Last Jedi (2017), and The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
There are also two Anthology films, namely Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) and Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018).
In addition to the 11 listed above, there were two made-for-television movies: The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978) and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (1984). Another Ewok film, The Ewok Adventure (1984), was released theatrically in some countries but not in the United States.
