Even guns were used in illegal way, first, guns can be used self-defence as same time as harming other people. In the United States Constitution, there is an amendment that states “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” This allows people to own guns to protect themselves and gun control movement is anti-fundamental because it is against Constitution which is primary law in the United States. Accoding to the article “10 Arguments Against Gun Control”, it states that gun contorl movement in United Kingdom did not worked. In the 1997, the United Kingdom passed a gun control act called Firearm Act to ban owning handguns. However, after 1997, the murder rate increased in 2002 which is 2.1 per 100,000. The murder rate went back to original rate in 2010, but the muders happen in same rate without guns. These murderer uses knives instead of guns to kill people. Also in Japan, the law bans not only any kind of guns but also any kind of knives and swords.
