Recently, America has discovered that President Donald Trump is deleting important data regarding the fact that climate change does exist. Per-Trump’s request, his new administration continues to annihilate the fact that global warming exist. This supports the idea that George Orwell presented when he wrote his dystopian novel, 1984, discussing his fear about the government withholding valuable information from the people in the future. Orwell feared that by withholding information, it could eventually lead to a world that would start banning books or simply sugar-coating topic on the internet in order to keep people from knowing the truth about the state of the world. Orwell’s vision for the future is accurate for 2017 in the United States of America in how the government deprives us from important information.

While on the other hand, Trump feels that because the climate control constantly points out what is harming us it has led people to focus on how we should manage our world’s resources. Although this seems very important for living a protected society, he has forced the Environmental Protection Agency to update their websites to cover up all the dissenting aspects of climate change. In order to protect themselves from the backlash of concerned individuals, they furtively announced that their website was undergoing a change under the direction from President Trump and administrator Pruitt.
