Dear Mr. Brown,
As a school leader, I am excited to be apart of the development of the school design plan that will put your dreams to paper. After doing more research on the requirements outlined by The State Charter Schools Commission of Georgia, I believe this proposal will provide a guide to accomplish the development of a strong school plan that can be used to complete the petition process with the SCSC as soon as the 2018 petition cycle. This is in direct alignment with the ambitious goal of opening the school for the 2020 school year.

For the purpose of our project, this will be carried out in two stages. The first stage will be done through online research of all the available data aligned to culture, performance, student population, student needs, academic programing, budgeting, community, identified challenges, facilities, district goals, STEAM/STEM programming and relevant needs. That data will be use to inform our understanding of current educational programming, and the initial school plan will be developed identifying the unique programming that will be specific to the 30901 Charter. Mission and Core Values: Clear and define mission and values statement that will be used to lead the design process and what the School will be founded on and guide operations. 2. Student Body: Student Demographics to be served by programming, recruitment, maintenance, development, and on boarding. 3. Governance: Members, structure, responsibilities, functions, roles, selection, operational areas, policies, implementation of programming and suggested communication style, planning and financial stability. 4. School Culture and Operations: Admissions, student code of conduct, discipline structures, attendance requirements, process and due process for student dismissal, grievances and parent complaints, population size, attendance zone, student recruitment, and student onboarding.
