Morrison’s essay is about her time working as a house cleaner, and how she made the contrast between work and life. She also had a pretty bad boss. Adkison’s essay was also about him working at Pizza Hut but he made his work pretty much his life because he had a good boss. While Morrison uses several stories throughout her life to demonstrate the line between work and life with a bad boss, Adkison sets out to prove, through a series of vivid anecdotes, that a good boss can very easily make your work your life.
