Just thinking that one of your family members could be dead right now if one flight wouldn 't have been canceled is kind of a scary feeling. 9/11 changed America forever and it will never be the same. Many people sat in front of televisions and radios listening hoping there loved ones would come home. Some even expected calls. Al Qaeda attacked the WTC for many reasons.
On September 11, 2001, two terrorist planes flew into the twin towers and another into the Pentagon. Almost 3,000 people were killed during the 9/11 attacks, which led to U.S. initiatives to fight terrorism and defined the presidency of George W. 9/11 is known by everyone in and outside of the US. September 11th, 2001 is a historic day for every american. A terrorist group known as Al-Qaeda had devised a plan to attack the World Trade Center Buildings, the Pentagon and a unknown target (possibly the White House or the capitol building). 9/11 started when four planes were hijacked near New York, and were bound to California. Two of the planes diverted their course to hit the Twin Towers.
9/11 in New York is the historical tragedy memory to friends and family. This event have shocked many people lives and will not be forgotten. It also affected the market, building, and business. In addition, it left businesses, offices,people who lived apartments, and neighbors being bankrupt, jobless, and homeless. Terrorists caused a huge impact corrupting buildings and innocent lives.
Before the terrible event of 9/11 many United States citizens could agree that they felt generally safe living in the U.S. People could live their lives and not worry about an attack against them or their love ones. Everyone was friendly and opened to each other because there was no fear. But, unfortunately the views of everyday living have changed as a result of the attacks on the United States. The continued threat of terrorism has affected the lives of Americans in negative ways. 9/11 has made a big impact and has effected U.S citizens for many reasons.
9/11 was probably the worst day in American history and this story helps you imagine what it would’ve been like to be on the inside. Adam gives every detail that happened that day. As previously mentioned, Bush faced a multitude of crises during his presidency. Perhaps one of the biggest and most influential crisis was the terrorist attacks of September 11th. At the time of the attacks in New York City, the president was in a Sarasota, Florida elementary school to witness the implement of his No Child Left Behind Act. His administration were already alerted of the incidents underway that September morning, but Bush was left unaware until the second plane crashed into the World Trade Center. It was assumed that he was not fully informed to not cause panic among the students in the class.

On Tuesday, September 11, 2001, a terrible tragedy occurred, resulting in the twin towers of the World Trade Center to collapse. The towers were stormed by two Islamic planes that were participating in a suicide attack and were burned down in daylight.
