When I was around 6, I would go to my father’s house for a weekend, once a year. He never hit me and he didn’t come off as abusive to me. He was pretty controlling though.
The memorable day in my life is when I started Detroit Job Corps. I was nervous and happy at the same time. When I woke up that day my stomach had butterflies in it, and I was sweating like it was summer time. My face felt hot, like I was going to pass out. My mother cooked a huge breakfast for me.
I was pushed down, wrestled with, and experienced cuts, bumps, and bruises just like one of the boys. We would have cookouts and bonfires with corn-on-the-cob and the best hamburgers and hot dogs. We would have birthday parties that were the best I can remember. And on hot summer days we would go down to the pool to swim and play on the playground. Our nights were full of little league baseball games under the bridge at Paul J. Sciullo Field watching the pony league games just waiting for one of the big kids to crack a ball so hard it would hit the bridge.
My favorite memory with my mom is when we took a cruise the day after christmas. It was my favorite time with my mom because I got to spend a lot of time with her. On the cruise we got off at a stop in the bahamas and we got to stop at a bunch of different shops. Then we stopped at a beach and we swam and scuba dived and hung out on the beach. We got to spend a lot of time with each other without or phones distracting us.
Whenever I pulled up at his house I had gotten to hang out but then we went to bed. The next morning whenever I woke up we made Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, and Toast. We were going to eat outside because it was so nice. One thing that we had to make sure of was that we put on our bug spray because of the bad mosquitoes out there.
He gave me a hug and told me we were going to get my things. When we went to get my stuff my mother wasn't allowed to be there but it didn't take us long. My mom had to pay child support and got her visitations every two weeks like my dad had and that was an on off thing as well some times i went with her and sometimes she didn't show There was a time when i was about 7-8 i didn't shee her that whole year I never really go anything for christmas or birthdays and to be honest i think she holds that tap they plain in court against me hahah. That never bothered me i was never close to her One example i have is I have played football since 5th grade every year and say we had 10 games a season that equals 50 I can remember her going to One and that was parent night in the 7th grade. She never supported any of my sports not just football but wrestling baseball soccer.
I remember my dad setting up the hog trap with the leftover food we had after dinner. That trap is now nothing but pile of rust that lies just behind a dirt road. I remember running my fingers down the old chain link fence behind the house which was removed to expand the house. I remember waking up in the morning with the smell of bacon and staring at the particle board ceiling, making pictures out of all the random shapes. Now that board has been replaced with a nice painted boring wall.
My sister and I were nervous that he wouldn't be the same. When we got home from school he was there. We ran up and hugged him and we didn't let him go. We had missed him to much. When he came home it meant mom would have to stop working in the factory.
He was very strict but he was also very fun. I played basketball and volleyball in 5th grade. In 6th grade, I did hair and make-up for the play. In 7th and 8th grade, I was in the play with my friends Savannah, Heaven, and
He bought me golf clubs, took me to Boston College hockey games, took me out to eat all the time and just talked about his life experiences and what was important for me to
I had a great childhood. My childhood was filled with laughter and happiness. I also had a very good home life. My parents are still married, I am close with both of my sisters, I get to see my grandparents and cousins very often. I made friends during my childhood that I have kept, and will probably keep for a lifetime.
The biggest memory that I had was when I was sent to foster care. It started years ago when my dad decided to drink every single day and social services didn’t think that was something kids to be around so my sister and I had to stay with my grandma for a few months. We couldn’t stay with my mom because she didn’t have a house or a job and none of her boyfriends wanted kids in their house. My mom didn’t like us staying with our grandma because she’s not a nice person to be around.

One of my favorite memories growing up is how much time I spent reading. Whenever I got a new book I couldn 't put it down. I remember that I would always read on the bus ride home. Reading was something that I liked to do. As I’ve gotten older my choice of books has changed alot, a different genre for each of my phases.
A memorable day I my life is when I first found out I was a diabetic. I was scared and didn’t really understand what was happening. I was too sick, and for the most part out of my mind. But, what I do remember is a lot of pain and a few visitors. It wasn’t the best day and I don’t remember every detail.
