A Boxing Match is a competition that takes place between two boxers and cartoonist are painted pictures used to represent individuals. In this case, cartoons were used to serve a political purpose in a battle. William Charles being the first American cartoonist was the creator of this cartoon. He extended by introducing readers to characterized symbols like ‘’John Bull’’ together with. ‘’Brother Jonathan’’. He focused on the bloody war between the British and the minor United States the field of a political cartoon. He was identifying England as John Bull the ‘'George King III'' and on the other hand he personified the United States Brother Jonathan ‘’ James Madison the president’’.
