I have dedicated the last ten years of my life to multi-disciplinary self-discovery, and I hope to share my learnings to help others become the best versions of themselves. By exploring other fields, such as working as a nurse’s assistant, a massage therapist, and a yoga instructor, I’ve had the joy of holding space for people, in a vulnerable area. Holding space with a deep sense of empathy is my biggest strength. I enjoy meeting people where they are at, and working in collaboration to move them forward in a way feels authentic to them. Emphasizing and celebrating individuality and uniqueness is at the forefront of all the work I intend to do. In this time, I pursued various other career paths of helping others, searching for my passion. I worked as a nursing assistant and experienced patients in rehabilitation and hospice. I hope to fuse all my knowledge into the field of holistic counseling, because I’ve learned that only when mind, body and spirit are in harmony, can individuals begin to heal. I am passionate about finding what each individual needs to be true to themselves and how to use their strengths to get them through the difficulties they may face in their daily lives. I believe that this program is the next step to bring all my past learnings together, to be the catalyst for my clients to live their lives to their highest potential. While completing my undergraduate degree, I pursued two internships. I worked with the YMCA to prepare lunches for underprivileged youth that were attending camp on scholarship, I also taught movement and nutrition classes to children ages 4-14, where I learned the importance of proper education and I worked with a nonprofit whose goal was to feed, clothe and shower the homeless population of greater
