The three careers I chose to examine were IT Security Administrator, Forensics Investigator, and Obstetrician Gynecologist. I chose these careers because I discovered that the employment rates for these jobs are expected to grow at a faster than average 37% from 2012-2022. This is because data security threats are growing and with more digital technology rising, more organizations have become victims of cyber crimes. The other career is what I want to be. Internet Security Administrators, also known as computer security specialists, or Internet security specialists, protect computer systems against attack.
They go undercover a lot to catch drug dealers and many other criminals. Federal agents often do raids where the agent breaks down the door and rushes into the house. “They even do search warrants in people's homes”(Criminal Justice). Lastly, they investigate in large-scale crimes such as, terrorism and drug trafficking(Criminal Justice). Federal agents for an “entry wage earn about $39,000-$61,000 a year.
The academic part of the job is the skills I would need to do my job and here is some of those skills Intelligence experience, Law enforcement/ Investigative experience, Foreign language Proficiency and Diversified experience(www.fbiagenteud.org). I have got some of the foreign language part but I still need to do the rest. An plan on doing whatever I need to do in order to get those skills so I can be an FBI Agent. My current academic performance will help me get to where I want to be I just need to keep it up.

Being just in the American criminal justice system is a topic that is highly debated. Some believe the system is just, while others believe it is a flawed. The truth however, is that humans are not always right. God is the only who can practice justice in complete perfection, because humans are not perfect. Although many people in the American criminal justice system have good intentions, sadly that does not necessarily mean they are always just.
I feel as though finding out who commited a crime would be such an intriguing thing to do. Also, FBI agents save so many lives and helping people is something I enjoy. Since I have always been interested in solving crimes and helping others, I believe that being a FBI agent will be a good career choice for me. The career I have chosen has to do with criminal justice. Criminal justice is something that 's always seemed to grab my attention. It 's something I feel I was born to be interested in. I really enjoy helping others in any way so I figured why not pursue a career as a probation officer. Not only will I be helping others, but I will be preventing an offender from repeating the same mistake.
I am currently taking this class to have a better understanding on Business Communications and also to get my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice in November. My career goal is to become a Probation officer for juvenile’s long term but for short term I would like to work with adults but not for long. I prefer to help children just because I needed an adult to help me as teenager and I never got that and I want to impact someone life. I currently am not employed do to my high risk pregnancy.

The beginning of the criminal justice system of the United States goes all the way back when the United States still belonged to the Great Britain. Americans were under Great Britain laws and rules and most of the laws were unfair. The Interests of Justice test under the Criminal Justice Act 2003 enquires how serious the offence is and includes factors such as losing liberty or livelihood. In Sue’s case she would not be likely to lose any liberty due to the fact it is a speeding offence and an affordable fine is set out. There are three components that make up the criminal justice system – the police, courts, and correctional facilities – they all work together in order to protect individuals and their rights as a citizen of society to live without the fear of becoming the victim of a crime. Crime, simply put is when a person violates criminal law; the criminal justice system is society’s way of implementing social control. When all three components of the criminal justice work together, it functions almost perfectly. For a person to enter the criminal justice system, the process must begin with the law enforcement.
Hello, Professor Sanders and class my name LaToya Mayers and I currently reside in the High Desert area of California. My uncle that works for a Louisiana Department Of Corrections and his wife works for Louisiana Police Department as a Police Officer sparked my interest in criminal justice. Due to my interest and love for the Criminal justice field I have affirmed my decision to pursue this course of study because on July of 2013 my brother was murdered in cold blood and to date the case is still not resolved. I am hoping to learn all I can about this course of study so I will be able to assist someone in the future if needed. Yes, I am taking this course as a novice with no experience in the field of criminal justice.
