A comparison of belief, motherhood and work values, Christianity and Islam
Christianity and Islam are two religious traditions who have had their differences throughout the history; many scholars have passed on their judgments as to why it has come to what it is today, the need for more respectful conversations between two of these religions is one of the main concerns nowadays (Schumm, Ferguson and Hashmat) This comparative essay will compile some of the key comparative dimensions of these two tradition’s such as differences in belief systems, similarities in motherhood as well as modern days’ work values adoption in the society.
Islam is currently holding the title for the world’s second largest religion (Parboteeah, Paik and Cullen) According to the Qur’an Islam is described as the submission to the will of Allah or God (Parboteeah, Paik and Cullen). Islam is a tradition which was based upon logic; it is for people who wish to understand the concepts to get to know the significance of important issues, the religious studies of Islam has become the main cause for most of the people to convert to their religion.
