Shakespeare was extremely popular with several novles, and even royalty like the queen, they all loved it because of the quotes and concepts he brought to his stories, including “We that are true lovers run into strange capers.” “We that are true lovers run into strange capers,” means that there is no true love that comes without a questionable act. In “A Midsummer Night's Dream,” several characters including Hermia and Oberon fight and argue over love in their relationships or quest on finding true love. For example, how Hermia disobeys her father by not marrying Demetrius, or Oberon using a potion on Titania just to see her fall in love with the first person she saw after she was put under the effect of the potion. Her father Egeus interrupted Theseus wedding and told him if Hermia disobeys him (Egeus) he would threaten her to be put under an Athenian law and kill her.
