He opens the speech by telling a funny real story of him and her sister when they were little. In his story, his younger sister fell from the bunk bed and landed on both two hands and knees. She was on pain and mostly likely would have told her parents about what happened but he managed to manipulate her emotion by telling her that she’s a unicorn because of the way she landed. He knew that his sister is all about being a unicorn so a unicorn she had become. Instead of telling her parents, she climbed back up to the bunk bed happy and started playing again convinced of being a unicorn. He had the audience laughing which kept the audience focus on the topic. His speech organization is great and flow smoothly. He shows some statistics and talked about what we can do to become more positive. I feel like his speech delivery is a one on one talk. There is a point in the speech when he is talking about a dot that is out of place might be you. I think that he is referring to a negative person in a group that could spread negativity and bring down the whole group in the process. He mentions about how our brain processes to make us successful and how the release of dopamine by being happy affects us. His main point is that to become happy, you should be positive because if you are negative then most likely you won’t be happy and if you’re not happy, it will affect your surroundings and whatever you do. He uses emotion by telling a story of himself and humorous facts that have something to do with the topic not just random jokes. He talks very fast but very clear. The story about him and his younger sister is a prime example of utilizing vivid language. He is telling a personal story but at the same time connects the story to the main points. The speech end by him talking about how small changes ripple outward and creating lasting positive changes through 3 gratitude, journaling, exercise, meditation and random acts of
