Michael Pollan explores the analysis about fast food, which contributes to his argument that fast foods save time. In explaining the point of fast food that it saves time, Pollan describes how fast foods save time. For example, he says “A hallmark of the western diet is food that is fast, cheap, and easy. “ The quote highlight that fast food helps to save time in our day to day life. Pollan also mention that American people spend less than a half hour a day for preparing food and little more to enjoy eating that food. It is medically proved that eating food faster leads to obesity or overweight, because of the over consumption of food especially fast food. If we look through the commercial, it talks about the affordability of food. For example, commercial says “two sandwiches”. In the commercial it says that we could get two sandwiches for just five dollars and we could get food for the good price. These kind of commercial attract middle class families, who mainly trust on fast food restaurants for their food. These cheap price ranges of fast food allow more middle class families and low income families to fast food restaurants.
