“A Word At School” analysis
As the developing of the era, peace, equality, and education are the basic right for people. However, there are people who do not have those right and struggles with war. Malala, from Pakistan, which is one of the country that people don’t have the basic right, is the one who will fight for her own right fearless. On her sixthtingth birthday, she speaks in the United nation about her dreadful experience, how she would fight for women’s equality, education for girls, and knowledge will bring peace. She used powerful words and figurative language to convince the audience. Never give up to strive for the right of education for all the girls in Pakistan that she supposed to own is the awesome quality of Malala. Be indomitable, even she shot on her face on the to school and almost lost her life, if that was others, they must be terrified and will not still insist for their individual rights, but she is Malala, she will not abandon granted the rights to them. Peace is one of her goals in her speech. Wars, kill or injured countless soldiers and even innocent civilian, are cruel and merciless. In the speech “ Today is the day of every woman, every boy and every girl who has raised their voice for their rights” (Yousafzai, 2013) All these innocent people dead or disable due to the war. Malala’s forehead was shot by the Taliban, who wants to silence her and her friends about the peace education, and equality, but nothing can stop Malala, a strong girl,
