APA Class Reflection

This class has been challenging and a bit overwhelming for me, many times I felt frustrated and like my head was going to explode. From all the papers we had to write, sources we needed to present and especially all the required reading which has been daunting and time consuming. At times I felt discouraged with so much to do in such little time and with all my other obligations outside of school, it was sometimes a roller coaster of time management and not losing my interest in each week’s assignment. Although I felt many emotions throughout this class, when I finally stepped back to evaluate, I noticed that I was learning much more than I thought. I started feeling like this class was taking over my life and I was tired of all the reading and writing. Then I realized that I needed to come up with a different approach, as I realized most of my classes are going to require much of my time. I started out by writing my schedule for the week, in which I started to fill in times to do my assignments. It took taking my laptop everywhere, to doctor’s appointments, soccer games, family events, literally everywhere. Here is passage in session four that stood out, "A truthful witness does not deceive, but a false witness pours out lies." Proverbs 14:5 (NIV). This is something I can take with me to my other courses, because it’ll help me to choose the right sources for my assignments. Also, it’s important to see how you present yourself to others, as our words speaks loudly and reflect who we are as individuals. I find that God plays a huge role in my journey here at Colorado Christian, and I look forward to incorporating His passages in each of my assignments and in my everyday
