As many of you know, I have devoted much of my time and effort into making ASA the best it can be. This sorority has given me some of my best friends, leadership opportunities, life skills, and amazing unforgettable experiences. Now it is time for me to give back to the sorority that has given so much to me. I joined this sorority during my freshman year and knew it was my forever home. I held tightly to my sisters as we were placed on probation. I served on the executive board as we worked through our probation, and now I want to help lead our chapter as we take the final steps to get our probation status removed. After much consideration, I do believe I have many qualities that make me a good candidate for Vice President of Programming and Ritual. As I mentioned in my application, I have attended Greek Leadership Retreat, LDI, as well as District Days. These retreats have helped me learn and grasp concepts that have furthered my leadership skills. Retreats are important in developing leaders and teaching the leaders proper communication, working together, as well as sharing ideas amongst others. At each of these retreats, I have listened and taken notes to bring back to our chapter. I have a few ideas on how to better communication, such as a weekly email informing the chapter of any updates and important meetings they should be aware of. I want to start utilizing “MyASA” more as a tool for communication and organization. National Headquarters has created these as a service to us and often times they go unused. All important dates and documents can all be found on this website, and it would be a great means of communication that everyone has access to. I want to revamp the calendar, making it
