This week I learned about the important roles of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers across the country. As well as their contribution in providing quality care to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients in the clinical settings.

The important role of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health care worker in bridging the gap between the contemporary Australian health care system and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. I learned about the professional capacity of the Indigenous health workers and their great contribution in providing holistic care to the patient which is culturally safe.
