When you think about the word abortion what do you think of? Abortion is the most common way to get rid of an unborn child. Now I want you to think where do you stand in abortion? Do you think it is right or do you think that it is wrong. It is very understandable why people would want to get rid of an unborn child such as if the child was conceived when they got raped or the child was just unplanned. I don't think it is right for a mother to abort the unborn child because the child doesn't get the individual right to say if it wants to live or die. When a child has birth defect, or having the baby can risk the life of mother think it would be ok for the mother to get an abortion because some mothers wouldn't want to raise a child that is in pain its entire life or if the child was made because the women got raped. She was a Texas resident that was an unmarried and pregnant. So back then Texas had a law that made it a felony to abort an unborn child they could only abort the child if it was on medical advice for the purpose of saving the life of the mother and of course Texas could have this law because states could decide if abortion was legal in the state.
