In the passage there is no mentioning of Isaac trying to negotiate for his freedom or attempting to escape Abraham. There are several things I remember about my beloved Abraham. Maybe it is the way he smelled or the sound of his voice or just how he tapped his pencil when he was frustrated. I would always yell at him and tell him not to be such a bother because I never fully appreciated what he did for me. How he made me love. How he made me move forward even though we lost children.
