When Abraham Lincoln was about eight, he was kicked in the head by a horse which caused the left side of his face to droop a little bit more than the right side.

During Abraham Lincoln's early life, he had many struggles, such as not getting a proper education. Lincoln was born February twelfth, 1809 to Thomas and Nancy Lincoln in Hodgenville Kentucky. Lincoln was a rail splitter, he helped on farms, built fences, tended for live stock until at age twenty-one, he moved out to try and find a life away from home.
