Each year Countless children are abused and neglected. Therefore child abuse is a worldwide epidemic. Thousands of children around the world endure cruel and unusual acts from their perpetrator each year. Child abuse and neglect is any act that places a child in danger or harm. There are several forms of abuse such as physical, sexual and emotional abuse. Child abuse act again children that includes slavery, child prostitution and recruitment of children for military purposes.
There is clear proof that child abuse and neglect is serious issue that affect countless children around the world. Everybody know somebody that was affected by these cruel acts. Child abuse is a very serious problem in the United States. There is not an exact numbers of how many children that is affected by child abuse each year. However sense physicians are required to report abuse each year there 3 million reports of child abuse that affect 5 million children within the United States.
Child abuse is when a parent or caregiver, whether through action or failing to act, causes injury, death, emotional harm or risk of serious harm to a child. One out of every one hundred is abused in the United States. Children from the age of one year to six years are more likely to be abused. 44 percent was of the victims were younger than one years old.

A. Neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation, and emotional abuse.
II. Physical abuse includes shaking, beating, punching, biting or burning the child
