Evaluation of Adam This year, I had Adam as my child for preschool. It has been an honor having him and getting to know and teach him. I will greatly miss him and will come up to visit him. He was a very sweet boy and is very well behaved and very polite. I tested him on these thing and wanted to let you know how he did. Adam has very good Language Art skills. He was able to recognize all his letters but needed a little help because he thought that a J was a U. He was able to recognize all the numbers. Adam did talk about his family members and knew each of their names. He is really good at remembering and carrying out instructions. Adam is really strong in speaking in complete sentences. He was able to recognize all his basic shapes like a square, circle, triangle, and rectangle but was unable to draw them. He was able to identify the colors red, pink, blue, purple, yellow, brown, green, orange, and black, but was unable to identify the colors gray and white. Adam was able to identify the pictures associated with the letter of the day. Adam did not really mention the theme of the week but he did understand what it meant by him participating in the activities.
Adam was able to recognize all his shapes but was not able to draw recognizable shapes. He has decent scissor skills and is able to cut thing but needed a little help on what to cut. Adam is able to wash and dry his hands when asked to do it by himself. He was able to use paint and paint brushes with ease. Adam is able to use pencils and crayons but need help on how to hold them. Adam favored his right hand but he tried to do things with his left hand because he saw that I was left handed. When it came time for the kids to go home Adam is able to put on his coat and backpack he was able to put them on if someone is holding them for him. During play time Adam walked and ran around the tables without any problem. Whenever he runs he will decide to fall and then get back up and run around some more. Whenever we had free time he always picked out a book and sat down and had me read it to
