Physically, both individuals are in good health. They both remain active and have participated in a sport at some point in their life. Both adolescents have great balance, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills. Their typing results are very good with Adolescent 1 typing 66 wpm with 95.8% accuracy and Adolescent 2 typing 51 wpm with 95.4% accuracy. They are very similar in build and have the same height and almost the same weight with Adolescent 1 weighing 116 pounds and Adolescent 2 weighing 110 pounds. Similarities continue in the cognitive domain. Both adolescents are or were involved in advanced classes and this shows in their performance on the cognitive tasks. They were both able to correctly answer all the riddles except for the last one. Performance on the multiplication facts worksheet was close as well with Adolescent 1 completing thirty-eight problems and Adolescent 2 completing thirty-one problems. Despite the age difference these individuals seem to have similar cognitive levels. The socioemotional domain also had similar results. The socioemotional level of these adolescents is comparable. However, they did differ in their flexibility and their heart rates. Adolescent 1 had very low flexibility compared to Adolescent 2. Adolescent 2 was able to put her hands flat on the floor while Adolescent 1 wasn’t even able to touch her toes. Another difference is in their resting heart rates. Adolescent 1 (68 bpm) has a lower resting heart rate than Adolescent 2 (96 bpm). This may be because Adolescent 1 has been active for a longer period of time in her life, but it could also be due to Adolescent 2’s predisposition to faster heart rates on her father’s side.
