They often fear that the school will begin to fall and be unsuccessful. There are some courses that aren’t attended much and they don’t want the program to get rid of so they make the classes very
This allows me control over my education, so I can avoid being pressured into a class or a major that is not right for me. As a matter of fact, author Virginia N. Gordon found statistical evidence that about 75 percent of students change their major at least once before graduation (Freedman). The ability to explore different paths will ultimately comfort students because they know their major is out there somewhere. By being able to pick from a variety of majors, students do not have to worry about wasting their money by being forced into a major. For this
Students will be more likely to learn if it is something they are interested in. Next, many students at East Ridge High School want to have classes that teach them about the field they would like to go into. If we don’t have those classes, students will never be able to experience learning about that topic to see if that is what they want to do in the future. The text “Middle School Electives Can Launch Self-Discovery” tells us “If we can prepare them, in a prerequisite sense, for the highly targeted, skill-based electives offered in high school, we create greater articulation at the high school level,” Barnes said. The experience of electives helps more graduates gain a sense of where they’re headed and the clarity to set and meet their own goals.”
Since this course would be my first PA course, it is very exciting. Throughout college, I have been taking courses not entirely relevant to the Physician Assistant major. I hope to learn many practical aspects related to physician assistance such as; learning how to take a patient's vitals, learning how to administer a full physical examination, learning about certain diseases, learning how to obtain and record a patient's history. I also want to understand the clinical process in more depth, learning and appreciating the art of medicine, as well as having a deeper appreciation and understanding about the Physician Assistant profession. I also want to obtain a very strong foundation on the Physician Assistant major before graduate school.
It could show how well we can achieve within a short period of time. If you had less time to work in class, you won’t get as much done, but you’d be able to make up for the lost time in your lessons. There are always downsides in every situation. You just need to figure out if the Cons out weigh the

One Earth, One History, One Class The most stressful time of the year for many students is when a student must choose the classes that they will be taking the upcoming year. Essex High School offers a wide variety of classes regarding history, which can make it difficult to choose a history class to take. At Essex High School students can take several different history classes such as Global Military History, U.S. History, American Government, many more and my personal favorite AP World History.
Here’s the deal: I ended up taking AP Music Theory over Organic Chemistry my senior year of high school. Did people tell me that was wrong to do because I want a career involving chemistry? Yes. Do I regret it? Absolutely not.
AP classes can be very beneficial to students. These courses reduce the amount of money and time spent in college. They also are more beneficial than college intro classes. Lastly, these classes help prepare you for the workload of college. AP courses reduce the time you have to spend in college.
I learned new writing styles, test taking techniques, and how to be a true AP student. European History allowed me to see what else was out there. In life you need to be able to see the big things in order to know what 's really small and that 's exactly what the class did for me. Taking the risk showed me that if I was able to take AP European History, then I was definitely able to take a class like AP U.S. History, or any other class for that matter. It boosted my confidence and showed me what I was able to do for myself.
AP classes are said to be very hard, of course very challenging, and that they suck the living life out of you. However, regardless of that, I still choose it, because I believe that the more of writing skills you have, the better. I can’t have enough of English skills, because there is always something I can improve on. With all the different literary techniques, I can write better essays.
Paying for college is a stress factor that students experience every day. On top of all the stress from school work, some students have to worry about paying for college also. Many resources for students are available to prevent students from having to work a full time job, or even take out a loan. Even applying for scholarships and pell grants and receiving them, paying for college is still an added stress. High school students are always encouraged to take AP or honor classes to help themselves get into college.
Students also can be exposed to all of the basic classes such as Math,ELA,Science, and History in elementary school and then in middle school and highschool they choose their own
With class, there is a strong indication of where a person residential area is. Living in Trumbull the property tax is high because the houses are big, and the majority of the town are homeowners. Thus, creates a bigger pool of money for the local government to fund the public schools in my area. My high school is ranked 20th in the state of Connecticut (Niche). Where twenty-five AP classes are offered to give greater opportunity for individualized programming and accomplishments.
It also is a great way to get close with the professors. By not showing up, you will gain that advantage. Some professors give out participation points. A student 's grade can slip when they do not attend class due to a of lack of participation. Also, it is a good idea for students to sit in the front of the class.
