Tobias Wolff makes a clear point in his short story named “Bullet in the Brain.” In the story, a book critic named Anders is waiting in line at a bank. Unfortunately, two armed men enter the building and start to rob the bank. Anders precedes to mock the criminals carrying out the heist, and it leads to one of the men shooting Anders in the head. The message Wolff communicates is this: life is more enjoyable when you are less critical.

Feedback can result in subtle or drastic adjustments or none at all” (2023). Communication is also a good quality when it comes to youth. Being able to communicate with the younger generations, will help the younger children to understand more clearly. In support of this, one of my other personal experiences about communication is when I was testing for my blue belt (ninth belt) and I have always had just this one struggle on one of my forms. After the test, she told me what I had done wrong, and what I could do to improve it.
The criticism a person gets can either benefit a person or hurt a person. Criticism is in everybody and everyone gets it no matter who you are from Stephen Curry, 2015 NBA MVP, to me a 14 year old freshman. Criticism can benefit a person, because it gives you feedback on how to get better. Stephen Curry was drafted into the NBA in 2009, as the 7th pick onto the Golden State Warriors. He had received plenty of harsh criticism about his height and that he won’t fit in.
Some of the most bothersome people I know are those who try to act exceedingly intelligent, but in reality they do not live up to this title. If they only accepted themselves for who they are, they would be about to work passed their weaknesses and work on their strengths. (113 words) This passage goes to show that petty, personal quarrels do not matter in the slightest when anything truly serious is

One of my favorite books is called, “The Four Agreements”. In it, the author, Don Miguel Ruiz highlights four agreements a person should utilize in their life to reach optimum happiness and serenity. One of the agreements is to never take anything personally. This agreement explains that
We know for a fact that thoughts influence actions. Why do we want that negative self talk to ourselves? We need to get ourselves our affirmations.” With this statement, Ivan intends to get people to acknowledge that negative self talk happens a lot when trying to accomplish many things but that negative self talk will only make it
Trust personal judgement and be aware of strengths and weakness. Each person, how rough and tumble he or she might appear to be will become more aware of their abilities and capacities. Many moons ago, I was employed by a large and international printing company I have experienced that it is easier to criticize and scrutinize someone on a regular bases. Been part of that environment I know the feeling of being subject to that ridicule.
We should practice controlling our countertransference that we show to others. If any, we don’t always have to express them. We should be considerate to know that others have feelings and the way we look at them or communicate with them won’t always be positive to them. Everything we do or say should be done with
People must listen to others, yet also listen to the readings of another person. If one was to not listen to for instance, their teacher, that person is unable to learn in the classroom. This concept goes from in school, all the way up to a job. An example, could be when someone is unwilling to listen to a boss could result in them losing their job which in return that person could possibly not acquire another job. However, if someone was to listen to their boss, it could be seen and in return a promotion could be rewarded to the person.
Feedback could be non verbal and verbal. This communication process is very important because it organizes how a message can be sent, seen, and delivered. Feedback also is very important because it can alter how businesses, and peoples’ communications with each
It is also key to be aware what we are or are not capable of in our work. It is important to continue to grow and develop personally and professionally. This is an ongoing process throughout our lives. According to Day, Halpin & Zaccaro, 2004, (cited by Share & Lalor, 2009, p123) for ‘self-development to occur, a person needs to become aware of his/her internal processes {thoughts, feelings, moods, beliefs and actions} and have an awareness of how these internal processes impact on others as an external process’. Self-awareness and self-development work hand in hand with one another, as do personal and professional development.
This deals with a customers’ perception that a product or service they are buying provides them with a higher value than a competitor. Superior quality can be broken down into two kinds of attributes: quality as excellence and quality as reliability. A customers’ perspective of quality as excellence would be that they want a product or service that provides features and a level of service that has no comparison. With regard to quality as excellence, if customers perceive that the products design, features, and functions are better than everyone else, then they would be more likely to buy their product. Higher quality products allow for a higher sense of value provided to the customer.
