CHAPTER THREE
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
INTRODUCTION
Research methodology is a way to systematically solve the research problem. It may be understood as a science of studying how research is done scientifically. In it we study the various steps that are generally adopted by a researcher in studying his research problem along with the logic behind them.
A research can be done using a social science method where conclusion are drawn by the use of a survey method which requires analyzing the data using soft ware like excel from where findings will be generalized for the entire population. If the researcher settles for this approach then he/she knows that the research will be done using a positivist approach, which believes that evidence can be gotten from the numbers.

Some of the advantages include:
• comparatively undemanding to manage
• Can be advanced in less time
• Cost-effective, but cost is determined by survey mode
• Can be run tenuously through wired, itinerant devices, mail, email, cabin, or cellular phone
• Steered tenuously can moderate environmental dependence
• Efficient in gathering facts from a large number of respondents
• Copious interrogations can be asked about a subject, giving vast elasticity in data evaluation
3.2 RESEARCH DESIGN
One can see research design as a plan detailing the conceptual arrangement around which research would be conducted. A research design is important in that, it enables the assessment to be result-full as possible thereby producing enough information. The research design can be structured along experimentation, exploration, descriptive and analysis. Of the four structures, exploratory approach makes flexibility easy in the design thereby affording greater opportunities for assessing several spectrum of problem identified and as such will be adopted in this thesis.
