Information System Development
Computer based information systems were started to design and analyze in 1950s. Since then, the development has changed dramatically due to rapid development of computers and organizational needs and wants.
Software industry began in 1960s and system development was like an art of science. In 1970s, this view of software development started to change when organizations realized that it is expensive to develop customized IS (Information Systems) for every applications.
And software industry expanded greatly when the programming languages used in fourth generation which instruct computer on what to do instead of how to do made easy to develop soft wares.
