The modern era has specialized training institutes for every field of interest. Whether it is honing up one’s academic, artistic, musical or culinary skills, we have a plethora of options to glean from. Introduction Being an international student in the U.S. may be an amazing experience but it also comes with some quite difficult challenges when adapting into a new country and academic environment. Being an international student can be very rewarding but at the same time most likely not. International students in the U.S. comes across quite a lot of challenges in their daily lives. Today’s economy constrains the life of young individuals who seek to earn a higher education. Whether it is paying for college or finding a job after graduating, college students are becoming more concerned with how to get to the destination instead of the path itself. Because of the competition in the job market, new graduates have a difficult time finding work due to lack of experience. Although internships and lower paying jobs are offered around their setting and major, it would be more beneficial for graduates to obtain work experience outside of the normal path they would take. Recent college graduates who do not have or cannot find jobs should move abroad and seek different job opportunities because it will better effect their total experience by enhancing their work assets, teaching them how to learn and adapt to a different environment, and expanding their global knowledge overall.
When I was younger my mom always told me that the best education you can receive is through experiencing the world and I took it to heart. While I could educate myself about certain aspects of the history and culture of Spain here in the U.S, it could never compare to being there. To be able to learn about Spanish history and life through seeing it in person and meeting Spanish people rather than just reading about it in a textbook is something that is irreplaceable.
