Most kids from ages 13-17 spend their teenage years going out with friends or focusing on school but what about a job? Typically teenagers cant necessarily get a job until 15 or 16 but for some kids who 's family is invested in any type of business of their own they may possibly start working at a younger age than most kids. The downside of working young is it could distract you from your school work or cause added stress. The central focus of this essay is about wether or not starting work as a young teen is beneficial or if it 's a disadvantage.
I believe that working at an early age is a privilege because it teaches a lot of life skills, responsibility and confidence. About 4.7 million teenagers have jobs now, an increase from this time last year.
A lot of teenagers and kids in other countries are forced to work at a very early age to support their family and as a result of that they miss out on their education. Not many teenagers in the
U.S are forced to work at an early age because there are certain laws that dont allow teenagers to work until they are at least 15 or 16. That is why I believe that having the choice to work at a young age in the U.S and still be able to get an education is a great opportunity for you to learn things about work that some kids dont learn until they are about 18 or 20.
