How can we help fix this problem once again? How can we make sure that this time our plan goes through? That’ll it’ll be proved effective? That the African Wild Dog will no longer have to be on the ESL? If I had an unlimited amount of resources, I would BAN people from killing the African Wild Dogs. They would be given a ticket for killing the African Wild Dogs. It wouldn’t matter if you were a farmer, a local citizen, and even if you were the President of the United States. It wouldn’t matter. You would be charged a fine for hunting the African Wild Dog. Banning people from hunting these defenseless creatures will let them know that we’re serious about this whole issue. It isn’t a “hey let’s hunt and just run away, maybe they won’t find out” situation anymore. …show more content…
Tracking the dogs would be a good plan because first of all, we’d be able to know where they’re all located. Second, we’d also be able to monitor the amount of packs, pups, and the population. Third of all, I’d provide rabies shots for all of the African Wild dogs. If we can do it for “man’s best friend”, why can’t we do it for our ecosystem? It would eventually increase the African Wild Dog population by preventing the outbreaks of rabies. Last but not least, I’d do my best to prevent us humans from touching their habitats. That would include any destruction. For example, chopping down trees, dredging rivers, etc. After trying out all these plans, I’m sure the results would be effective because we were/are the reason why their population was/is dying off. Plus, it wouldn’t be hurting any other organisms. Tracking an African Wild Dog would only affect a dog and it barely does. The African Wild Dog probably wouldn’t mind being tracked, let alone know. Also, not hunting the dogs would have no cons. It would be 100% helpful because not hunting the dogs would of course, increase the population of the African Wild
