Air pollution is undeniably one of the most sobering world issues that everyone is familiar with nowadays. The problem, which was well documented since 16th century, has been plaguing humans for several centuries. During the Industrial Revolution, many machines were invented as a result of the development of technology. While technology improved industries’ production, workers’ working efficiency as well as overall industrial productivity, it produced air pollution. Sadly, the people were so obsessed and consumed by new technology that neglected the threats of the air pollution that they needed to confront with. It was not later 1875 when people finally realized the danger of air pollution especially when they noticed the increasing death rate due to air pollution. The air quality problem has been affective for a long time. The problem of air pollution is well documented in 16th century. During Industrial Revolution, technology has a huge improvement, new machines are invented to help or substitute human workers. As people were working on the new technology; new issues appear, air pollution is one of the problems. Most of the new machines get energy by burning coal which produce plenty of pollution. All the people were crazy about the new technology; no one realize the problem of bad air quality. The air pollution levels often reach very high level and smog were formed.
