Genies granting three wishes are a fable that every person has at least once in their life wished there were such a thing as magical genies. If there were enchanted lamps and after rubbing it a genie came out it would give us a chance to wish for three things that can change our lives. Telling a story about a person getting the opportunity to discover a genie and is promised three wishes should be a fun tale to tell. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 31st animated motion picture Aladdin has made our fantasies about genies come true with a colorfully bright extravaganza. Aladdin has a fast pace story, amusing characters, beautiful animation, and new catchy songs that makes it a real treat. The genres that the story of Aladdin intermixes are comedy, adventure, musical, and romance. Aladdin is showcased with a loose comedic tone, and it never takes itself on a serious tone like Disney’s earlier animated feature Beauty and the Beast.
