Having to pick personality theorist or theory was a little hard for me to do. I have chosen to Alfred Adler’s theory of birth order. Adler is one of the first to propose that someone’s birth order could make an influence on someone’s personality. How that it affects some people as they grow older can either make are break them, in the long run, depending how many siblings a person has, or how the parents acted against their child as they have there more kids. I believe that it depends on one lifestyle also. Firstborn are timider. They are the ones that follow the rules, they are very dependable and uphold the responsibilities and try and help with the parenting of the younger siblings. I can agree because my son is the only child from me. He does have other siblings, but they live far away. As my son grow up he got anything that he wanted and how that he is five and I’m not getting everything that he wants I have made a monster out of him. The reasoning being he is the only child and doesn't want him to want for anything I try my best to get it. Now that he is older and I tell him no he can’t have something he will through fits to the point he embarrasses me. I have learned now that you can’t give him everything thing that he wants he needs to earn them and that’s what I have been trying to do with him, but he still thinks that he should get it. When it was time to transition to school he was a little scared to go at first because he thought that he would get kicked out because of his behavior issues like he did when he was in daycare. The school worked with him each day that he had probably and not the new year has started and he has done an exciting job or controlling his tempers and things like
