Alfred Kinsey had a very interesting way of going about his studies. He had many different tests to reach his goal of understand the human body and how it works with sex. some examples are how a male and a female have sexual intercourse. How the same sex has intercourse as well. The difference between the two genders. He would also survey a lot of the different kinds of ways people would have sexually intercourse as well. He would also make give surveys to an average person male or female, straight or gay to see if there is any correlation between them at all. He was using them all most like the bugs he was studying for twenty-years. He used them almost as pawns in a sense to just reach his goal. He would also use his own personal life, and his family especially his wife just to see what happens with the human body. Kinsey’s research had a lot of pros and cons. Some strengths to his project were how much data he collected over the years. How many people were willing to tell him how much of their life if you got them to a quite room with just them and a person who would ask questions. Just to make the person feel safe around you. I believed what he was doing at first was ethical in a way he was just trying to help people out with their marriage’s and especially their love life. I though he was actual helping humanity in away just help it move forward. He would also ask the question to no one really wanted to ask or even answer. But I think as time went on I think it started to get out of hand. I think near the end of it all he was almost trying to leave a legacy more then trying to help people out almost. He started to care more about his research then people in general. I think this really start to hurt him mentally, physical, and emotional and started to take a toil on his family and his
