After Pearl Harbor, Japan won many battles, but their success would end after the Battle of Midway when Japan had been destroyed beyond repair. So, as the United States kept fighting smaller islands to get to Japan's main island, it got very hard so they decided to use their secret weapon, the atomic bomb. A project, known as the Manhattan project, was creating a bomb so powerful it could wipe out cities. So, the United States used the “ Fat Man “ on Nagasaki, and the “ Little Boy “ on Hiroshima. The atomic bomb was a success and killed about 145,000 people in both cities.
As many countries joined WWII, many of them were finding new ways to protect themselves. Thus the atomic bomb was born. The Germans found a way to split a uranium atom that created a huge explosion thanks to famous scientist, Albert Einstein. It wasn't long before the U.S. heard of this and started doing the same thing. In 1941, America hired a German physicist ad created a secret project called The Manhattan Project.
The allies were Russia, France, and Great Britain (Doc A). The control power countries are Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Turkey. In 1915 Italy switched sides, hurting France and Russia. The countries started pointing fingers for war. Another underlying cause is militarism.
During World War 1, there were multiple alliances. Alliances showed your trust with other countries. There was The Triple Alliance that included Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy. There was The Triple Entente that included France, Russia, and Great Britain. These were the two most powerful and strong alliances in the Great War.
When World War I broke out, the United States declared its policy of neutrality, but between the years 1914 and 1917 they only followed this policy to a limited extent. Through certain acts from the Germans, like the sinking of American ships and the Zimmerman telegraph, the United States were pushed to side with the allies. Consequently this lead in the U.S. favoring the allies and almost breaking the policy of neutrality. Many times the United States had taken ammunition and supplies to the allies against Germany and had also filtered the public 's knowledge in cases suches the sinking of the Lusitania. One of the first conflicts that arose between Germany and the United States was the excessive use of submarine warfare.

Which brings us to 1945 on August 6th when the first Atomic bomb was dropped, even though Truman did not have the right to drop the Atomic bombs on Japan.
