I. Introduction
A. Thesis: Allowing guns on college campuses will not make them safer because college violence is statiscally rare, and the lack of maturity, reckless behavior, and alcohol and drug abuse; make the students more vulnerable and prone to fire-arm related accidents.
II. The average college-age student lacks maturity, a consequence of this is that college life tends to be plagued by substance abuse, which puts students a greater risk of suffering fire-arms related accidents.

III. School violence is infrequent, and college campuses are statiscally among the safest places in the United States.
