College Crime and Safety: Are college students at danger? Everyday day is a higher risk for college students being in a situation of a crime. School shootings have become more frequent and put students in a dangerous place instead of school being about education not of crimes. Whenever I see these types of tragedies, it makes me wonder if my college campus is safe. Getting to acknowledge more on something that could happen in the current university that I am attending and learning more on how to prevent something like this is very helpful and the information could be useful for any current students. Security, protection, education, and success should be the main things that should be provided for any student. The School system is finding ways in improving safety to drop the numbers of some types of crimes that occur in every day at schools. Police should be more involved in the look out for any that could possibly put someone on the campus community in danger.
