Its very important making sure that a program that is going to start becomes and stays sustainable if that means that the person started if they are not there the program can continue to run. The findings show that a lot of planning must happen for programs and making sure that aspects are considered in particular the pros and cons of the program. For the following area this will be discussed is the pros of the alternate model and how it will be successful or not successful.

School-Community hubs differ from other models because they focus upon the disadvantaged and at risk children.

my view on the Innovative Community Action Networks - ICAN is that it is another form of community engagement/development is that it focuses on the learning aspect of it as it does the following as previously mentioned.
- community development in schools re-engage young people who have disengaged from school or are at risk
- community development gives students-(learning options outside the school, accessing specific information for the students, supports from other agencies, Further education options and employment opportunities

The schools engages with other community organisations near the school and the help of the P+C can gain local community links with funding for particular programs and vice versa.
