Driven to help the local communities of the world, the YMCA works everyday with the people regardless of age, income, or background, the Y provides an environment for everyone to learn and be their best. The YMCA is a non-profit organization that has been up for 160 years serving our neighborhoods. With plenty of programs to bring people together and close gaps and holes in our community. The YMCA keeps kids off the street, creating a learning environment for kids supporting them on a journey through their truly helpful programs. The YMCA benefits humanity in many ways. It focuses on smaller communities by providing after-school daycare for parents that work late jobs, summer groups that many children can participate in and focuses greatly

This forces kids to either stay at home with nothing to do or go out with the possibility of stumbling upon trouble. Causing many to choose a wrong path in life. They are found doing wrong things, being inactive, and causing them to stay inside. This is where the YMCA comes in. They have many volunteers at their disposal. They provide the children with activities, and crafts to keep them busy while you work. They run this program because they understand people are working late hours and sometimes can’t run and get their child. The YMCA does this daycare all throughout the year.
