Amanda Bynes was once a famous teen actor that starred in many TV shows of our generation's childhood. She was on top of the world as a just a young girl, but as she became older, she started to lose grip of herself. We were all crazy for her while she was the star actress of “The Amanda Show”, but now she’s just crazy. Hester Prynne from the novel “The Scarlet Letter,” and Amanda have a few aspects in common as well as several considerable differences. The beginning of Amanda's troubled times started in April of 2012 in South Carolina when a report came out that she had hit a police car. They had tested her to see if she was under the influence of any kind of substance, and issued her a DUI. The charge was dismissed later one and replaced with her attending an alcohol education class, three years of probation, and having to pay some hefty fines. Both ladies have been publicly shunned for a sin that they were accused of with evidence of such matter.
