“It is within the reach of the American Baha’i Community to elect 1,000 Local Spiritual Assemblies this Ridvan! It will require each Baha’i residing within an Assembly area to be personally concerned for maintaining that Assembly, and whenever possible to join those hundreds of volunteers, youth and adults, who will be needed to assist in the formation of Assemblies in the vast mass teaching first in the South, Southwest and North. It would be dangerous to underestimate the value of such service. Now is the time to ‘grasp this golden opportunity’. The upcoming Baha’i year, the last year of the Nine Year Plan, can be filled with such historic accomplishments if we will but play our part in the spirit of universal participation as guided by the Universal House of Justice, directed by the National Spiritual Assembly, implemented by Local Spiritual Assemblies and teaching committees, and inspired by the Hands of the Cause of God, the Continental Board of Counsellors and the Auxiliary Boards.”
I don’t support Yes California, because even though the state has the burden of subsidizing other states and it is making it hard for it’s people, it is not ready for this kind of transition, at least not right now. Yes California can wait a few more years until they can at least make their own currency and be able to fund the UC without needing to rely on federal funds. Yes California’s campaign is something that should be aspired to in the future once they are truly ready for this
Thank you for all you do for our Republican Party here in Delaware. Your energy and support is so important to Delaware’s future! Congratulations on becoming a delegate for the 2016 Delaware State Convention! Because of your passion for conservative values and initiative to better our communities, Delaware is finally poised to stop one party rule. I have shared your passion and fought alongside you since my first senate race in 1994.
Among the winners was Marco Rubio. Rubio proved Wednesday night that he is ready to be President of the United States. The debate started off with Rubio being criticized for his “low voting attendance record in Senate” (Diamond). Rubio returned with a polite attack.
John Rayburn, you are running for the next Congressman of Louisiana. That comes with unbelievable responsibilities and sacrifices, but there is no feeling greater than representing the state you know and love. We have a long campaign ahead of us, which means we should begin discussing our strategy. To preface that, I would like to share some knowledge I have learned through past campaigns. In order to have a solid and successful campaign, we must know all of the fundamentals surrounding us.
Persuasive Speech Ah Australia. The land of opportunity. The land of freedom and equality. The land of wealth and good health. The lucky country.
Our flag is a sacred symbol of the United States its colors stand for what America believes in: Our country, our children, our military and loved ones, and our very lives. This symbol is a very important part of society and stands tall amongst the world and its many allies. Although America has one thing most countries don’t and that’s tolerance. As the land of the free we’ve became very tolerant to ideas such as Islamic laws and even immigration from other countries.
As time goes on it seems that more and more people within our country are losing their sense of American exceptionalism. I am here today typing away to hopefully convince you that we most certainly are, and have always been, exceptional. The most common misconception, as outlined in the “America isn’t the greatest anymore” speech from the show The Newsroom, is that in order for the US is the best, the epitome of the world, it must surpass every other country in every positive aspect. People want us to be on top and attempt to hold us to that standard when we obviously aren’t, all of the statistics from that speech are completely real.
I hope you know that you are constantly letting in possible terrorists. We being the the only country without an actual good border we lose life’s who protect our state's border by illegal immigrants, or illegal aliens. And to go on, letting them in if they had a passport is different then letting them illegally. They even bring an overwhelming amount of crime and drugs into the U.S. And wasting money on them is worse, most illegal aliens don’t even pay tax dollars, and when they do 50% of the tax dollars go to another government, as you can see, this is not okay.
¬¬ November 9th, 2016: A day etched into the memory of millions across the globe. This day may be remembered as a turning point in the political climate of the United States and the world; the marking of another smudge in history to be taught as to not repeat it; or even a turning point in the coffin for their life as they know it, whether for the positive or otherwise. The events leading up to this day caused a great strain on the population of the world regularly bringing to light our differences, prejudices, and disparagement of those who disagree with our own views. The cognizance of these issues without the allowance of vocalization and empathy for others is the primary reason that Donald Trump claimed victory in the 2016 presidential
America has been seen as a symbolic representation for optimism and pride since the beginning, and is now prospered up the social and political ladder as a nation. Because of our successes in political and government processes, our democratic nation is seen as a goal for many countries. (during the ___ something was spreading throughout America, and that was) The American Dream; this was the idea that people could become anything of themselves and believed that through hard work and dedication nothing could stand in the way of their success and ambitions. But before this the notion of the American Dream, America had to began somewhere, and that was in a room full of delegates at the Philadelphia Convention on February 21, 1787 (archives).
America, has given us our freedom. America has given us the ability to be a human. I can vote because of those who fought for our freedom. We are a free country; men, women, and children all have rights as a human being. We are all a nation, a country of diversity.
Ladies and gentlemen, where should we start tonight. Should we Leave our beloved country of America, where over three hundred million of us colorfully, peacefuly, and freely are living from every God loving faith, as we wish to seek Him. Or should we travel to the other side of the planet in our beloved country of Afghanistan, where only one of us living in the capital of Kabul, as an Afghan Jew. Only one. Besides the loss of over two million Afghan muslim men, women and children, our Jewish brother and sisters along with eight million of us scattered around the world.
In last night presidential debate Donald Trump would concede to Hilary Clinton. Trump went on to say that the elections where rigged and urged election officials and supporters to watch the voting places like in Chicago and Pennsylvania. Trumps induction encounter is invalid. There is a nature process that takes place, the votes are hand counted and certified. Although there is no law that any candidate has to concede Trump is on a slippy slope , Trumps evaluation of a generalization is the hole bases of his not conceding defeat.
On January 21, 2017 millions of U.S. citizens gathered together to march on Washington in protest of the inauguration of President Trump and everything that he stands for. The argument for or against equal rights for all is an ongoing one that has plagued the lives of many in the world since the dawn of time. The question itself is simple really; is every person in the world regardless of gender, race, sexuality, etc. worthy of having equality in every aspect of life? Is any one person more significant and worthy of power than another simply based on differences that we cannot change as humans? The oppression of anyone who isn’t a straight white man is nothing new to us as a society.
