American versus French Revolution As you can see the American Revolution embraces enlightment. There are many ways the american revolution embraced the enlightment. three reasons is the Declaration of independence, bill of rights, and the results of it. First, i’m going to talk to you about the what the Declarations of independence is. The Declaration of Independence is the statement adopted by the Continental Congress meeting at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 4 1776, which announced that the thirteen American colonies, then at war with Great Britain regarded themselves as thirteen newly independent sovereign states.American document has had a greater global impact than the Declaration of Independence. It has been fundamental to American history longer than any other text because it was the first to use the name the United States of America. On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed by the members of the Continental Congress. The Declaration of Independence is an important part of American democracy because first it contains the ideals or goals of our nation.
