Education in America seems like something that we all take for granted. From the bus that come and picks you up from your home and takes you back home at the end of the day, to the sheer size of our classrooms and hallways, are things that we don’t think twice about. In third-world countries, like those in Africa, think about these things all of the time. They wonder what it is like to have a bus, and to have a bigger classroom. They think about taking that one mile walk each day to school, having to do it over and over again, each and everyday. For example, the cost of supplies such as fees, clothing, and books are troublesome to pay for, especially in a poor country, such as Africa. Also, because of the lack of schools, many African kids have to walk many miles in order to get their education. Additionally, the quality of the establishments are very insufficient.
