Greetings my fellow American citizens. My name is Ellasandra Marie Delia. The Civil War is finally over. We have dealt with so many conflicts however, this is the most difficult one. I am here to help anyone in need because of this horrible bloody war and I will do whatever it takes to help with the reconstruction process. I will be restoring our great nation after the tragic passing of President Lincoln. As you all may know, President Abraham Lincoln has sadly been shot and killed. I will let all the former slaves make choices for themselves. They can now choose where they want to be labored and the type of work they perform. Also, the former slaves are now able to buy land in the South to live and they don't have to have owners anymore. We will work on making more homes in the south so the former slaves won't take other peoples homes in the south and start conflict. Next, the new 14th amendment addresses many aspects of citizenship and the rights of citizens. African Americans now have the right to vote. Last, former slaves will have an education.
