One of the theories I will use while explaining Anakin’s personality is attachment theory. According to Blalock et al. (2015), attachment theory, developed by John Bowlby, conceptualizes the universal human need to form close, affectionate bonds. He identified attachment behavioral system which basically drives infants to achieve proximity to attachment figures usually the primary caregivers. As the infant develops more security, the proximity of caregiver will be a safe zone for him/her to explore around them. The key behind this theory is that the early bond that develops between caregiver and child influences expectations about how the world works and how people are supposed to behave and interact. He showed signs of obsessive preoccupation while defending Padme and after that he took her to Tattooine just to stay together with her knowing that it is dangerous. At some point, he spent all of his time around her in the second movie. He also showed desire for union, miss her every time they are separated. Actually, he also had a desire for union with his mother while she was alive. At the beginnings of second movie, he reveal his thoughts to Obi-Wan Kenobi and said that he is wondering and worrying about his mother again. I cannot make any comment about extreme sexual attraction because movies does not include anything regarding sexual experiences. About experiences emotions extremely, I can emphasize that when he is around Padme he seems very happy and relaxed, but when he is angry, he is likely to lost his temper and kill everyone around him like he kill those bandits and families. Furthermore, at the third movie, Anakin be jealous of Obi-Wan Kenobi just because Padme said good things about him. Also at the end, when he saw Obi-Wan waiting behind Padme, he literally had a jealousy attack and hit
