Throughout the production, Lin-Manuel Miranda takes the audience through Hamilton’s entire life, as well as some of the major events that happened during the same time. He takes us through Hamilton’s early life when he was living in the Caribbean with his mother and father, and he even mentions other events from his early childhood life such as his father abandoning him, his mothers death, and the decision for him to travel to the American Colonies and how his island was able to raise the funds for him to travel. They take us through his education at Columbia University, and passing the Bar exam to become a lawyer, his time spent in the military, as well as his contribution to the writing of the Federalist Papers.
