Book Analysis Assignment It is getting increasingly hard for companies, big and small, to tell their story in this noisy, chaotic, social media world. This book “Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook: How to Tell Your Story in a Noisy Social World” by Gary Vaynerchuk attempts to make that task a little easier. Gary gets straight forward with his opinions and honesty. He helps to breakdown real ads posted on social media networks showing what people care about and what they don’t making them scroll right past. Many highlights were taken during the analysis of this book. The author argued that it is important to realize that social media requires quality and quantity. Not to mention, you want to keep things simple, immediate, and relevant. Consumers want info-tainment, information wrapped in a story. Even those companies who have yet to "get it," will be able to understand. This book is recommended for companies of all sizes; if your company is not already active on social media. To be successful on any social media platform, you have to put out content in the context of that platform. You have to know the ins and outs of it to be accepted and loved by the people who "live" there. They can sniff out a fake in a hot second. Be real, be transparent and give a whole lot (Jab Jab Jab) before you ask ask (Right Hook).This is an excellent book about marketing right on social media. Author Gary Vaynerchuk does a fantastic job of explaining what works and what doesn't with actual examples of social media jabs and right hooks.
