Through strong leadership, society has conquered some of the greatest feats, instilling permanent changes. On the other hand, through weak leaderships, the disappointments and setbacks has scarred society for many years to come. This impact of leadership can produce similar results within organizations. The strong are able to overcome and find success, whereas, the weak struggle and only find failure. One type of leadership, which has immense impact on the success of an organization is the quiet leader. For this assignment, I chose to interview a defense lawyer name Tyler, who recently joined Connolly & Associates this year. Although this firm has a small number of employees, which can make identifying a quiet leader more difficult. Through working along Tyler, I was able to recognize specific qualities and characteristic, which make him a quiet leader.

He was raised in Ontario, where his father was an executive within the corporation of Wal-Mart. He described his admiration for his father and the guidance and mentorship he regularly provided to his brothers and himself. His father started in the warehouse stocking shelves at a very young age and eventually worked his way up into the corporate executive role. This was a major influence within his life as he observed, learned, and gathered numerous skills and qualities of leadership. Tyler described how valuing relationships, being reflective, well-prepared, analytical, compassionate, and continuing to learn were all values he views as important characteristics. In addition, teamwork, communication, strong work ethic, honesty, and loyalty are other qualities meaningful to Tyler. After graduating high school, Tyler quickly completed his degree, worked within the Canadian Government, went to law school, and is now a practicing defense lawyer in
