Duvall is one of five kids, raised by single mother. The beginning of Duvall’s delinquent behavior began before the age of seven when he began stealing food and candy then stealing money and possessions from anyone. These actions earned Duvall respect within his crew, whom knew he was trouble and not to be messed with.

To the editor, I am writing in response to a letter to the editor that was printed in the Hardwick Gazette on September 16, 2015. In this letter Colby can be heard, once again, harassing and slandering the chairman of the Walden school board, Ray Lewis. It seems as though Colby is attempting to sway the Walden community to question Mr. Lewis’s character. In considering the unscrupulous characteristics and motives that Colby has consistently demonstrated, there need be no question about the root of his distrust for others.

To Kill a Mockingbird and 12 Angry Men, show men who were able to use their attribute to show compassion for others, their eagerness to think outside the box, while having self-assurance the entire time. To let the readers to pick up, they are willing to do whatever it takes to bring across the legitimate element of concern. Atticus and Juror 8 show compassion through the way they treat others with the respect they deserve.
